Sand, dirt or gravel collecting in a brake drum can severely impact brake life as it is ground between the drum and the friction material.  Ordinary road debris or environmental factors take a severe toll the longer they stay in the drum.  The patented jet action of BrakeTurbines provides cool, clean, dry brakes and drums.

How BrakeTurbines Tackle the Problem

To counteract the presence of heat and debris BrakeTurbines take a simple approach: force air through the brake assembly at a high steady volume.  How does it do this?  The five louvered sections that make up BrakeTurbines act like a mini jet engine that draws air through the open face of the drum and forces it back between the drum and the friction material.

Does this work?  Both customer results and independent testing confirm dramatic numbers, 50% to 150% longer brake life and 20% shorter stopping distances under heavy use.  All this for a product that costs approximately 1/3 the price of one brake job and is guaranteed for a million miles.
